- Have an excellent knowledge of Docebo’s product and service offering, and understand how to effectively communicate our value proposition in RFx responses.
- Support the both the mid-market and enterprise sales teams by managing the complete lifecycle of RFx responses. This includes:
- RFx risk evaluation and go-no-go;
- Attendance on any pre-proposal information conferences;
- Kick-off summaries and the creation of RFx response, external partner, and internal SME project plans;
- Project management of all drafts and related external partner and internal SME activity of the response;
- Facilitate all strategy and regular status updates of the ongoing RFx response;
- Circulation of the response for quality control and integration of those edits into a final draft;
- Final packaging of all deliverables for submission;
- Attendance during RFx defence calls
- Collaborate effectively with both internal business units (Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering) as well as external stakeholders (partners in the RFx submissions)
- Manage multiple RFx projects and prioritize them accordingly
- Assist in the maintenance of a global knowledge repository (housed within Responsive).
- Have an exceptional understanding of the RFx/customer requirements and provide support in the production of the RFx deliverables.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in bid/proposal development, or related role.
- Experience either working within or adjacent to tech/SaaS industries
- You possess a proactive and positive mindset, enabling you to efficiently prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional prioritization skills and proven ability to multitask.
- Excellent organizational skills and extremely detail-oriented.
- Excellent presentation skills in small or large group environments, with proficiency in presentation tools.
- Experience in the SaaS industry will be considered a plus.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and/or HR/CRM technology is a plus.
- Strong sales aptitude and instinct; you are comfortable speaking with prospects, partners, and larger project management teams at various stages of the sales cycle.
- Experience working in Pre-Sales and Engagement Management.
- Experience working within various procurement portals (Biddingo, Merx, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of marketing and business development best practices.
- Experience with technical illustrations will be a plus.
- B.A. or B.S. degree.
