Your role as Analytics Engineer

Reporting to Jad Abdallah, Manager of Data Analytics, you will contribute to Dialogue’s mission of improving the health and wellness of employees by defining and driving its data strategy. The Data Analytics team is in charge of building data products that empower every Dialogue stakeholder to make strategic decisions and achieve their objectives by fostering data-driven practices. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be Dialogue’s ambassador for data quality, privacy and access, in order to strengthen our data platform, and all downstream products.

What you'll be doing

  • Contribute to our data analytics roadmap and mission to support the company's objectives
  • Build high-value data products that have an impact on all functions of the organization, and help drive our goal of supporting members’ health and wellbeing
  • Manage a global and cross-functional data platform, by optimizing costs, leading incident response, and identifying key areas of improvement
  • Support daily data operations to maintain fresh, accurate and complete data in production pipelines
  • Drive quality at every step of our data pipelines, leveraging existing and new technologies

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an analytics engineer or data engineer
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and present them to various stakeholders
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Experience with MPP cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Experience with dbt, or similar transformation tool
  • Experience developing ELT/ETL and event tracking pipelines
  • A plus: experience with our stack (dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran, Airflow)
