The Opportunity

We are seeking a Real Estate Law Clerk to join our growing team, on either a full-time or contract (freelance) basis.

In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring seamless real estate transactions by preparing legal documents, managing client communications, and supporting our legal partners. You’ll have the chance to work with cutting-edge legal technology while delivering an exceptional experience to clients. This is a remote/hybrid opportunity. You can work from home or choose to come into our our Mississauga office, on occasion.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare, review, and process real estate closing documents for purchases, sales, and refinances.
  • Conduct title searches, review property details, and identify potential issues.
  • Coordinate with lenders, realtors, and legal professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Draft and finalize legal correspondence, including statements of adjustments and reporting letters.
  • Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and firm policies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital records of all transactions.
  • Provide exceptional client support, responding to inquiries and guiding them through the closing process.

What You Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years as a Real Estate Law Clerk in a fast-paced law firm or legal service environment.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: You're passionate about helping others and have a high degree of empathy and problem solving skills
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with real estate conveyancing software (Unity, Teraview, or similar).
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple transactions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a tech-driven, paperless environment.
