Drive impactful change at Deloitte by leading finance system projects and process improvements in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What will your typical day look like?

Reporting to the Manager, Finance Automation, you will play a key role in leading finance system projects and training initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, efficiency, and user experience. This position provides the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting critical business integration and process improvement efforts to drive operational excellence across the organization.

• Lead projects within the BIM Finance Team, focusing on core finance functions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Deloitte Global Process Office, Global Financial Services, Finance Business Partners, CBS, IT, Treasury, and Tax.
• Oversee and support process improvement initiatives related to Bill and Cost Rate processes, Concur Expense, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report cycles.
• Manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle, including initiation, requirements gathering, project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, execution, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Partner with business units to understand and document business processes, analyze improvement opportunities, develop business cases, and initiate process enhancement projects.
• Coordinate system testing and defect resolution with both local stakeholders and global support teams.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues to leadership as necessary.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Provide regular project status updates and presentations to leadership teams.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, test scripts, and status reports.
• Support post-integration reviews to capture lessons learned and drive ongoing process improvements.
• Serve as an escalation point and troubleshoot SAP-related operational issues.
• Lead and facilitate training initiatives for CBS – Finance.

You’ll join the Business Integration Management (BIM) team within Central Business Services (CBS)—a group of driven, strategic professionals committed to delivering finance operational improvements across Deloitte Canada. You bring the following must-have skills and experience:

Required:


• 5+ years of experience with SAP and financial accounting operations
• Proven track record leading finance transformation or process improvement projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
• Experience managing international projects and cross-functional teams
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including VBA)
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• Results-driven approach with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across departments
• Deep understanding of business and finance fundamentals
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a high-performing team


Nice to Have:


• Background in both finance and technology
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP)
• Advanced SAP expertise
• Bilingual in English and French

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
