What will your typical day look like?
Deloitte’s Legal Project Solutions group is actively seeking experienced Trades Confirmation Processors to assist with upcoming projects in the banking and financial services space.
As an independent contractor or temporary employee on this team, project work will vary but may include assignments such as:
- Manually processing trade confirmations, ensuring the accuracy of trade details and settlement instructions.
- Identifying and correcting any discrepancies between trade details and confirmations, including collaborating with internal teams and external partners to address and resolve confirmation discrepancies.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all confirmations and related communications.
- Escalating complex issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed.
- Adhering to established protocols and regulatory guidelines for trade confirmations.
Our team conducts project-based work using a roster of independent contractors or temporary employees under the supervision of our experienced Project Managers. Compensation for this position is on an hourly basis, and ranges from $22 to $45 per hour.
We are currently recruiting for individuals who are available for hybrid project work (3 days onsite at the Toronto office, and 2 days remote) from July 2025 for about 6 weeks, with the possibility of extension. Remote work must be conducted from within Canada.

You are someone with:
- Prior experience in handling trade confirmations. Exceptional candidates will have experience in the commodities sector.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle events and settlement processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Able to perform efficiently under pressure while managing a large volumes.
Please also note the following:
1. As part of the interview and onboarding process, and to ensure ongoing identity verification, you will be required to:

- show a piece of government issued ID during the interview so we can verify your identity;
- send Procom two pieces of ID; and
- send Deloitte a current photo of yourself which will be used as your profile picture.
2. As part of the Procom onboarding process, you will be required to pass a background check, which includes a criminal record check. In addition, a background check will be required annually if your contract is renewed.
3. For scheduled meetings, you may be required to be on video.
4. You must work in Canada at all times. Deloitte will monitor the location from which you connect to our systems.
