What will your typical day look like?

In Audit and Assurance, Resource Specialists within Deloitte's resource management team are responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation and utilization of resources. Their responsibilities include:

  • Resource Allocation: Ensure maximum use and activity of resources by working closely with professionals, updating their availability and keeping a close eye on the mandates they work on. Work closely with team professionals to target resources who can address mandate needs.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as mediators to resolve such conflicts, ensuring that projects move forward smoothly without causing delays or disruptions. Coordinate with the national resource management network when needed and suggest these solutions to team leaders.
  • Data Management: Maintaining up-to-date records of resource availability, engagement requirements, workload distribution and perform various analyses, as needed.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior resource managers and team leaders to ensure seamless coordination and communication. Be able to multitask and set priorities in order to meet the many tight deadlines due to the unpredictable nature of the work and the volume of requests.
  • Employee Support: Assisting in balancing workloads and ensuring they receive accurate information. Gain an understanding of the practice’s service offerings and the skills of the professionals in the group by monitoring the acquisition of new skills thru training.

About the team

As a member of the National Resource Management Team, and supporting Deloitte's Audit & Assurance practice, you will be responsible for executing the resource management strategy both in our regional and national offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective planning of practitioners for each engagement. The results obtained will contribute to successfully meeting and/or exceeding business targets and expected results

You are someone with:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in resource management, recruitment, project management or client service rôle;
  • CEGEP/University Diploma in a related field;
  • Proactive, multitask and comfortable working with people of all levels;
  • Advanced skills in Excel;
  • Bilingualism ENG/FR

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
