What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte’s Legal Project Solutions group is actively seeking administrative and data entry resources to assist with upcoming projects in the class action administration space, including on many Indigenous matters. As an independent contractor or temporary employee on this team, your tasks will include:

  • reviewing and organizing a variety of electronic file types;
  • conducting data entry and data validation checks with a keen attention to detail;
  • reviewing claims and confirming all required information is present and accurately captured;
  • supporting Project Managers with records management tasks, such as organizing data to optimize information retrieval;
  • extracting critical information from electronic records; and
  • providing general administrative support.

Our team conducts project-based work using a roster of independent contractors or temporary employees under the supervision of our experienced Project Managers. Compensation for this position is on an hourly basis, and ranges from $22 to $25 per hour.

We are currently recruiting for individuals who are available for remote project work from March 2025 to July 2025, with the possibility of extension for a year or longer. Remote work must be conducted from within Canada. Exceptional candidates will be able to work in both English and French.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • A minimum of 0-2 years of administrative, data entry or records management work experience.
  • Have completed an undergraduate degree or a diploma from a 2-year or longer college program in any field, with preference given to programs involving a co-op requirement. Candidates with limited educational background but exceptional work experience relating to the role may also be considered.
  • The capacity to review large volumes of data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An aptitude for learning new technology platforms quickly.
  • Highly effective written communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • An ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • An interest in developing your professional skills and experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Experience working with challenges being addressed by Indigenous peoples in Canada is an asset.

Please also note the following:

1. As part of the interview and onboarding process, and to ensure ongoing identity verification, you will be required to:

  • show a piece of government issued ID during the interview so we can verify your identity;
  • send Procom two pieces of ID; and
  • send Deloitte a current photo of yourself which will be used as your profile picture.

2. As part of the Procom onboarding process, you will be required to pass a background check, which includes a criminal record check. In addition, a background check will be required annually if your contract is renewed.
3. For scheduled meetings, you may be required to be on video.
4. You must work in Canada at all times. Deloitte will monitor the location from which you connect to our systems.
