What will your typical day look like?

The DTTL People and Operations, Culture & Purpose team is looking for a strong relationship builder, and inspirational culture leader to lead our Purpose & DEI Center of Excellence. As the Purpose & DEI Senior Manager, you will lead a Center of Excellence and work closely with the Culture & Purpose Portfolio leader to set the vision for and bring our inclusive culture to life. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to create programming that embeds our Shared Values, ensuring all professionals feel included and inspired.
This includes:
- Design, implement and measure talent initiatives that embed purpose and DEI into the organization's culture.
- Work collaboratively and leverage mature influencing skills across a complex matrix of stakeholders within Deloitte Global, across the broader Deloitte organization, and nonprofit partner organizations to ensure alignment across priorities and success in DTTL implementation.
- Serve as subject matter expert and role model for Purpose and DEI. Bring best practices and innovative thinking from across industry, Deloitte member firms, and internal Global SMEs to influence future direction and improvement.
- Lead a globally-dispersed team of professionals focused on implementing purpose, societal impact, climate sustainability, well-being and DEI strategies for the DTTL organization. Support the team in delivering high visibility programs with tact, sensitivity, and a bias toward action and continuous improvement. Ensure appropriate messaging, style, risk review, and adherence to brand requirements.
- Embed purpose and DEI into DTTL culture, including inspiring, activating, and growing a robust network of culture champions across 35 divisions and 5+ employee resource groups.
- Serve as a key member of the Culture & Purpose leadership team, including supporting local delivery of events, maintaining working knowledge across all culture initiatives and collaborating effectively to align programs in a way that ensures a seamless and cohesive employee experience for DTTL professionals.

As part of the Deloitte Global Culture & Purpose team, you will create innovative programs that bring our Shared Values and Purpose to life and connect our 10,000+ Deloitte Global professionals in over 40 countries. We cultivate our culture through strategic programs that embed, reinforce, and reward our desired behaviors and by building awareness and engagement initiatives that inspire action from a broad community of champions, HR business partners, and executives. While you will report to a the Portfolio leader, you’ll work closely with team members at various levels on a wide range of projects and assignments. Our contributions lead to better connections with one another, with our leaders, and with our Deloitte Global strategy.

Qualifications
- Deep expertise in DEI, purpose, corporate social responsibility, and/or workplace well-being.
- Excellent people leader with strong consultation, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and contributors at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior executives across Deloitte Global, Deloitte member firms, and external organizations.
- Ability to flexibly manage workload to deliver multiple projects with high quality in a fast paced, results oriented environment—and lead others to do the same.
- Comfort with ambiguity; ability to ask thoughtful questions and both seek and provide guidance during complexity.
- Demonstrated commitment to PDEI topics and sensitivity to global nuance.
- Ability to flex across time zones to align with team norms and stakeholder needs.
- Experience leading a virtual-first, globally dispersed team across countries and cultures and/or communicating with global audiences.
- Experience working in a complex matrixed environment or professional services firm.
- BA/BS degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Corporate Responsibility, communications, business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
