What will your typical day look like?

In this role, you’ll leverage your strong foundation of HR knowledge, together with technology and analytics, to deliver premium Talent solutions across the firm.

You’ll be accountable to:

  • Support the development, execution, and timely delivery of Talent processes and projects;
  • Owner and escalation point for processes not limited to: hiring (experienced, campus), people movement (temp to perm, contract extension, promotions, transfers), international mobility, mergers and acquisitions.
  • Provide functional expertise and specialized knowledge to address escalations and/or complex inquiries;
  • Oversight to ServiceNow and SuccessFactors systems; ensuring successful integration between HRIS database and third-party providers, working with IT to troubleshoot errors as needed;
  • Lead annual activities and project manage any additional processes or projects that fall under the team’s remit;
  • Ensure data quality standards are met, assist in developing the business rules and determining solutions to address ongoing issues while maintaining awareness of downstream system impacts;
  • Review and assess processes to identify optimal service solutions, continuous improvement, and opportunities to grow the overall service delivery capability;
  • Assess work volume and oversee team scheduling, staffing, and resourcing to plan accordingly with leadership, including to anticipate peak periods and annual employee events;
  • Coach, mentor and support team members to build strong process knowledge, deliver with high degree of accuracy and develop exceptional customer service skills – providing insight into performance gaps to identify areas for growth;
  • Develop relationships and work with Talent Acquisition, Mobility, Total Rewards, Wellness & Benefits, IT to work as one Deloitte Talent to provide the best Talent experience for team members;
  • Liaise with Firm Legal to understand implications of government regulations and policy changes.

About the team

As a key member of the Talent Services leadership team, and reporting into the Senior Manager, the Talent Services Manager leads a high impact team of HR professionals. These team members are stewards of the employee experience through the provision of consolidated administrative operational support delivered via an inquiry and transactional service center that elevates the human experience and provides exceptional customer service.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has expertise in the following areas:

  • 5 years experience, including a combination of team supervisory leadership experience and at least 3 years of deep technical system knowledge;
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR practices, data, systems and processes, in progressive HR roles;
  • Well-developed verbal and written skills – able to communicate clearly to audiences at every level;
  • Ability to quickly build trusted relationships and take a collaborative approach to delivering projects and initiatives across all functions and levels within the Firm;
  • Strong process orientation, time management and prioritization skills – able to get above the weeds to address the crux of the matter;
  • Proven ability to draw on data and analytics to provide insights, analyze trends and drive continuous improvement;
  • Excellent capabilities using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS software (ServiceNow, SuccessFactors and PeopleSoft);
  • Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National clients, bilingualism in French and English is required
  • Motivated to deliver excellent service, works hard but plays just as hard on the weekends!

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
