What will your typical day look like?
The BA is an individual contributor that provides specialized technical and functional expertise in data governance and data quality. The person in this role will be applying strategic and analytical skills to create value to the Global organization implementing technological solutions related to Data Management. The role is focused in requirements elicitation, functional configuration of solutions and execution of functional and non-functional testing.
Role Responsibilities include:
- Hands on management of business and functional requirements elicitation activities, requirements/user stories documentation and socialization. Identification of problem areas, gaps or conflicts derived from gathered information.
- Functional implementation of glossaries, data dictionaries, metadata management processes, data quality policies and rules and data integration processes.
- Communicate with project managers, application developers, subject matter experts, end users and executives acting as liaison between business and technical areas.
- Prepare documentation on expected benefits, use cases, as-is and to-be process, workflows, data flows, final technical solution and end-user adoption plans/guides for area.
- At times leads a multifunctional team towards small projects/initiatives.
- Organize and facilitate user acceptance testing with business and external technical stakeholders.
- Support development and testing activities, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Develop and conduct group and end user training.
- Generate test plans, test cases and execute functional and non-functional IT Quality Assurance testing as part of software development processes.
- Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases.
- Provide input and help in the generation of technical user guides, operational documentation and support scripts

In this role, you bring:

A bachelor’s Degree on Information Technology or Computer Science

Minimum three (3) years working experience in information technology (IT) area.

Minimum five (5) years working experience in data management, ideally data governance, data quality and data integration.

At least three (3) years of demonstrated and relevant experience in data products, web services, SQL and ETL testing
-
Strong technical acumen in data management functions, specifically data governance, data quality and data integration (ETL solutions)

Robust knowledge in the following Informatica IDMC components:
-
Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC): Business Assets, Technical Assets, Hierarchy, Relationships, Dashboards
-
Cloud Data Integration (CDI) & Cloud Data Quality (CDQ) & Cloud Data Profiling (CDP): Rules, Mappings, Mapping Tasks, Data Profiling, Occurrences
-
Metadata Command Center (MCC): Job Monitoring, Asset Trends, Metadata Models
-
Understanding of QA methods, testing approaches, frameworks, and methodologies
-
Demonstrated experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and waterfall.

Expert in SQL using Microsoft and Oracle relational databases

Familiar with API Testing. Experience with SOAP UI is a plus
-
Certification and experience with TOSCA for testing automation is a plus

Familiarity with Azure DevOps is desirable.

Analytically and detail oriented. Experience in problem-solving complex problems, working along with multifunctional teams
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
