CoRe Creative Services is an in-house global team that creates nearly 20,000 high-quality, design-driven deliverables across multiple channels each year. We handle design projects from start to finish, ensuring creative excellence every step of the way. Our team engages in both creative concepting and repurposing and enhancing existing deliverables and assets. We are a team of Deloitte brand advocates who are service oriented and responsive to practitioner requests in service of clients. We have project coordinators and graphic designers to help guide the work through the creative process.

What will your typical day look like?

The Internal Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing internal awareness campaigns and events, to drive practitioner awareness and usage of CoRe Creative Services offerings. Key activities include drafting written materials, creating and editing video materials, creating and/or editing presentations, and managing campaigns across multiple internal online and offline channels.

This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced virtual environment. Required skills include:

  • outstanding interpersonal skills – able to quickly establish rapport, build trust and confidence
  • online event co-ordination and production
  • creative thinking and brainstorming

Responsibilities:

  • Manages and executes a multifaceted, integrated communications campaigns focused on driving practitioner awareness and usage of CoRe Creative Services offerings.
  • Develops succinct, high quality, consistent messaging for successful deployment across internal channels in accordance with business and country-specific guidelines.
  • Develops targeted, audience-specific versions of communications and manages translation of messaging as needed.
  • Develops and executes ongoing communications plan for each campaign.
  • Excels at storytelling; writes high quality, compelling communications across mediums, e.g., news articles, email promotions, video storyboards, presentations, feature headlines, newsletters, testimonials, case studies, posters, event materials, social media posts, etc.
  • Interviews Deloitte professionals to capture and write up compelling value stories.
  • Manages the production of online learning events, including development of supporting materials.
  • Collaborates with off-shore Creative Services team members to co-develop influential and effective promotional assets.
  • Supports development of qualitative user surveys and contributes to analysis of results.
  • Networks and builds relationships with other internal communications professionals across businesses, industries, countries, and other enabling areas to increase the reach of priority messaging.
  • Actively partners with other teams to understand effectiveness of communications tactics. Adapts plans and tactics based on data-driven insights to refine and continually improve approaches.
  • Ensures compliance with legal and brand standards for communications, as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with off-shore colleagues, internal service providers, and external vendors supporting design projects; manages project delivery as required.
  • Coaches colleagues on internal communications best practices and processes.

Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; relevant areas of study may include Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields.

Years of experience: Candidate must have 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience in an internal communications role. Experience with the creative industry or within a global professional services organization preferred.

Required skills and attributes

  • Advanced skills working with Microsoft Office applications particularly Power Point and Outlook
  • Strong video skills; Adobe experience preferred
  • Experience of producing virtual events
  • Experience with intranets/portals, collaborative and social media tools; SharePoint experience preferred
  • Proven project management experience; ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders and deliver results.
  • Understanding of marketing and communications KPIs; experience in deriving and applying actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative metrics.
  • Exceptional relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, build trust and confidence, and manage customer expectations.
  • Comfortable working, managing resources, and collaborating in a virtual, global environment.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt to change; experience managing change.
  • Collaborative, team player.

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
