What will your typical day look like?

Deloitte Global is the engine of the Deloitte network. Our professionals reach across disciplines and borders to develop and lead global initiatives. We deliver strategic programs and services that unite our organization.

Global License Operations and Finance Management Senior Manager will:

  • Lead a team of GLM professionals in the activation and administration of core online SaaS products from Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, and others for the Deloitte member firms

  • Develop and manage of a comprehensive budget for the global software and cloud service vendors consumed by and managed by Deloitte Technology

  • Oversee the invoice management, approvals, and mitigation effort with Deloitte businesses, global finance, and DT teams related to software vendors

  • Provide VMO and DT leadership through guidance, report analysis, and counsel to the senior leaders around strategic financial decisions involving software cost modeling and investment as well as seamless support related to ongoing vendor cost management

  • Act as an advisor to the DT VMO-GLM Director in planning and directing administrative, financial, and operational activities for the VMO Service to member firms

  • Represent the DT VMO-GLM Director in relevant meetings, discussions, and conference calls

  • Promote effective teamwork and manage the resolution of interpersonal issues

  • Create and deliver dashboards, reports, and analysis to member firms and businesses on consumption of vendor software platforms

  • Engage with Procurement, VMO, DT product owners with new software vendors and internal cost model allocations from creation to DT Executive acceptance

  • Support DT VMO-SAM Tools including ServiceNow SAM Pro and GLM Software Request tool in the overall software asset lifecycle

  • Translate the implications of emerging technologies and new software into the overall financial plans of Deloitte Technology

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Do you possess the following?

  • Minimum of 10 years of IT operations management experience in multiple business, financial, and technical processes

  • Expert problem solver adept at finding simple answers to complex questions and using knowledge gained through prior experience, education, training to resolve issues and remove project barriers

  • Requires leadership experience in managing large cross-functional teams that may not directly report to them and the flexibility to frequently influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally

  • A strong project leader, people manager and solution provider who has a high attention to detail and is action oriented

  • Strategic, creative thinker with good business judgment who can generate possible solutions and options to achieve business goals

  • Strong communicator and good listener, with ability to craft clear and effective messages both orally and in writing

  • Proven financial reporting and budget & forecasting management experience and ability to apply to operationalization of global software contracts

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI Analytics, and SAP ERP systems

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Working knowledge of various licensing models, vendor maintenance programs, cloud computing solutions and IT Asset Management (ITAM) standards

  • Understanding of Deloitte Technology and global business structure and operation is desired
