What will your typical day look like?

As a Senior Lawyer in our Cybersecurity, Privacy, and AI Law team, you will play a crucial role in developing our practice in the province of Québec. Your expertise will be instrumental in advising clients on compliance with privacy laws, managing cybersecurity incidents, conducting in-depth legal research, and providing valuable legal opinions on AI. Your strong relationships with clients will position you as their primary business advisor, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of internal and external conferences, presentations, and publications. Additionally, you will have the chance to work on major files for multinational businesses, further enhancing your reputation as a trusted legal expert.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

As a Senior Lawyer in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and AI Law, you should have an LLB or JD and be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Québec. You should possess a minimum of five (5) years of post-call experience in a legal firm, with a focus on technology, cybersecurity, and/or privacy law. Your track record should demonstrate your expertise in cybersecurity crisis management, including handling privacy commissioners' notifications and investigations. You should also have proven experience providing regulatory and policy advice in the areas of data protection, privacy law, and AI. Excellent skills in drafting, research, analysis, and communication are essential for delivering top-notch legal counsel. An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment will set you apart as a senior leader in your field.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $260,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
