About the team

Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice advises organizations on how to effectively mitigate risk and make informed and intelligent risk decisions around business processes, technology and operations. Our Risk Advisory business is expanding as we increasingly are asked to help organizations adapt and respond to new risks and take advantage of new opportunities presented by digital technology and the internet.

Within our Risk Advisory’sà Digital ControlsàRisk Technology team we have a pool of dedicated professionals with expertise in the design and implementation of risk and compliance solutions in several technologies. We gather requirements, design, and oversee the build and implementation of these technology solutions to manage our client’s risks.

What will your typical day look like?

The Manager is responsible for managing projects including

  • Enhancing risk insights for clients through transformed and modernized risk assessment and compliance monitoring processes, including managing specific projects to plan, schedule, track and report on monitoring events aligned with client needs.
  • Manage the delivery of projects, bring industry leading knowledge and insights for compliance and operational risk.
  • Leading client engagements
  • Leading the development of proposals, marketing content, and thought leadership as a key contributor to developing new business.
  • Support the retention of Deloitte’s position as the preeminent C&OR leader in professional services through industry presentations and publications.
  • Training, educating and coaching staff with regards to standard engagement processes, compliance subject matter expertise.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • A minimum 5+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following industries: Power, Utilities & Renewables, Mining & Metals, Energy & Chemicals, Manufacturing, Technology and Government and Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in corporate compliance and/or regulatory compliance fields working with clients in a consulting environment or delivering value for stakeholders in a complex corporate environment.
  • Understanding and/or experience in applying industry-adopted compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO).
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing compliance programs or leading compliance projects in a consulting environment.
  • The implementation, application and/or management of compliance management software (e.g., ServiceNow)
