Role Specific Responsibilities:

As SME for Anaplan and other Data Products, you will be responsible for: 

  • Designing, building, and implementing Anaplan models to forecast, plan, and budget for multiple business lines. 
  • Being a hands-on data modeler/analyst to design solutions and provide direction to technical teams for solutions based on Anaplan and SAP HANA. 
  • Collaborating with Technology team members and business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements and translate business objectives into data and analytical needs to drive building of BI/AI products. 
  • Contributing ideas for new planning and reporting solutions, enhancing and extending existing solutions, facilitating solution design, and leading data model troubleshooting and design. 
  • Delivering effective solutions that meet the requirements of internal business groups and are aligned with the firm’s technology, governance, and compliance standards and guidelines. 
  • Ensuring data attributes, relationships, and hierarchies are well-defined for BI/AI applications. 
  • Working with data engineers and data scientists to facilitate data integration efforts. 
  • Developing a product roadmap to incrementally deliver value to the business. 
  • Partnering with and managing relationships with business and IT stakeholders. 
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of requirements, data models, and analytical methodologies, ensuring transparency and knowledge transfer within the team.

About the team


The Artificial Intelligence CoE is an internal team within Deloitte’s ITS (Information Technology Services) organization. The AI CoE focuses on delivering solutions that leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence components to deliver business value. 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you


You have a product owner mindset. You are experienced in leading design conversations and building data models. Digging into data to extract insights and partnering with data scientists and business process owners to deliver data products to business clients gets you excited. 

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, data SME, or similar role in a technology organization 
  • 3+ years of experience designing and building Anaplan data models
  • Certification as Anaplan Solution Architect and/or Model Builder strongly preferred 
  • Experience with SAP HANA modeling and scripting is a major asset
  • Subject matter experience in various domains such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Resource Planning, etc.
  • Experience delivering as part of various SLDC project development methodologies, specifically SAFe
  • Proven ability of delivering in a fast-paced environment involving multiple stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Knowledge of management consulting business models is an asset
  • Superior skills in eliciting business use-cases
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders and lead others in teams
  • Ability to coach staff in analysis, design and data modeling 
  • University degree or equivalent work experience
