The Business Operations group is seeking a Workplace Services Professional for our Laval office location.

What will your typical day look like?

The Workplace Services Professional is responsible for working with the Workplace Services Manager and various service delivery teams to oversee, maintain and ensure the smooth and efficient day to day operations of Deloitte’s offices.  This role performs general clerical duties and tasks requiring attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.  Duties are performed in accordance with established office routines and operations.  The individual is expected to have knowledge of a general office environment, typical office practices and procedures prior to entering position.  


Practical knowledge is required for delivering excellent office support services including; 
•    Purchasing coordination 
•    Mailroom Services 
•    Office supplies upkeep 
•    Facilities services and work floor support
•    Reservation system support 
•    Meeting room support 
•    Manage customer expectations and explain policies and procedures 
•    Ensuring that the Café spaces are outfitted with the required supplies (paper towels, sugar, milk, etc)
•    Cleaning of the Café spaces (coffee machines, dishwashers, microwaves, refrigerators, counters) and of the dishes (glasses, cups, etc)
•    Providing excellent customer service
•    Performing various related tasks associated with administrative work

Back up coverage for the following services:
•    Reception Services 
•    Health and Safety support
•    Catering orders and setting up/cleaning up the catering services in the conference rooms
 

About the team

The members of the Business Operations team possess a practical body of knowledge that is applied in the delivery of office support.  It includes jobs in the areas of procurement, mailroom, concierge, delivery and distribution, reception, records, hoteling resource management and facilities management.  The Business Operations role draws upon knowledge of the specific function discipline and the organization's business practices providing services to ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of the organization.

You are someone with:

•1-2 years of work experience in purchasing, reception, customer service, event services, hospitality, or a facilities environment is an asset

• Ability to multi-task and be a team player

•Excellent bilingual (English and French) verbal and written communication skills 

• Excellent customer service skills

• Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

*Due to the nature of the role having interactions with National & Global clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.
