What will your typical day look like?

On the Partner Accounting Team your responsibilities will include:

  • Account analysis and reconciliations for both SAP and Partner Accounting Accounts.
  • Preparation of journal entries.
  • Working in SAP to pull required information and account details and prepare requested schedules.
  • Working in the Partner Accounting System to update data, pull account details, post transactions, and prepare requested schedules.
  • Prepare assigned schedules and analysis to complete fiscal/tax year end requirements.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of partner tax year end slips and related schedules.
  • Assist with the execution of Equity Partner transactions including preparation of schedules, posting of cash received, bank deposits, preparation of outstanding capital lists, and preparation of bank confirmations.

Partner Tax and Accounting is an important enabling area within our firm that is committed to the success of our partners and professionals. We provide tax and accounting support for the equity partners. The incumbent must be detail oriented, anticipatory, organized, and work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing confidential information. You will be working in a tight-knit team to deliver an elevated experience for our partners.

In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary program in business commerce or an accounting discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in SAP would be an asset
  • Advanced in Excel such as macros, functions and working with large volumes of data preferred
  • The ability to work as a team as well as be comfortable with individual projects.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned projects and see them through to completion.
