The Manager, Application Development will handle the technical direction and lead end-to-end delivery of projects to address business needs. Manage the full end-to-end Data Migration Process across all functional areas for Member Firm Onboarding to SWIFT Platform. Analyzes emerging technologies and influences direction of project solutions. Ability to refine and optimize the Data Migration and Cutover strategy, deliverables, and tools as required to meet the unique demands of smaller Member Firms onboarding to SWIFT. Possesses in-depth SAP S4 Process & Solution knowledge and enforces standards, procedures, and methodologies for the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Coordinates application development activities and directs development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices. Participates in quality improvement activities for the development organization. Ensures project/program objectives are met in a timely manner and adhere to the application standards. Performs a combination of professional and management duties over work staff.

What will your typical day look like?

 

  • Manage end to end delivery of projects with hands on involvement in the development and configuration of projects. Enforces standards, procedures, and methodologies for the software development life cycle.
  • Analyze emerging technologies, influences technology decisions and direction of project solutions.
  • Develop Data Migration and Cutover strategies to ensure successful onboarding of Member Firms to SWIFT platform
  • Collaborate with teams across the Global organization and within Member Firms to successfully complete Cutover & Data Migration activities.
  • Monitor progress and status of tasks and deliverables on projects and escalate issues and risks timely. Leads the delivery, implementation, and improvement of all applicable channel processes, methodologies, and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Provide on-going support to business and content teams on strategic technology platform, quality assurance and issue resolution.
  • May directly manages and mentors development team members or serve as technical lead over processes/projects.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The team is seeking a professional with the following skills:

SAP S4 Process/Development/Configuration (Specialize in SAP modules including: FICO, TM, ALM, RTR); Data Migration tools including Syniti ADM and Data Stewardship Platform (DSP); basic SQL knowledge to execute queries from source and target tables; Focused Build for SAP Solution Manager – for managing requirements, work items, defect management, report generation, using SAFe Agile framework

Education

Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum of 5 years of applications development and support experience; complete understanding of design and project management of business software solutions; strong channel specific business and domain (functional/technical) knowledge; project software development life cycle experience; project management experience
