This is a fixed-term 12-month role with Deloitte Global (DTTL) ideal for individuals who would like to gain global experience and return to a role wholly serving their Deloitte firm at the end of the term. Due to the global nature of this role, relocation is not required, nor supported. Candidates would be expected to work from their current location.

What will your typical day look like?

 

We advise clients on hard to solve tax and legal challenges, we help implement solutions for clients, and we operate some functions and activities on behalf of our clients such as tax compliance and mobility. In this role, you would be a member of the Global Tax & Legal Brand, Marketing & Communications team, working with our global and executive business leaders and our network of Deloitte Firm marketing and communications professionals worldwide on positioning, messaging, campaigns, and communications of market launches. This role will require frequent coordination and communication with colleagues across the Global Tax & Legal Office team and with the Deloitte Firm teams.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Project manage, write, communicate, and promote assigned programs of work and strategic priorities. This could include PPTs, emails, website posts, client win stories, or videos.
  • Write for different audiences with the intent to drive various calls to action
  • Ensure all deliverables are high quality and adhere to brand standards.
  • Learn about the services within Deloitte’s Tax & Legal business and drivers for key audiences.
  • Identify measures of success and track metrics to assess impact of activities.
  • Working with Global Quality and Risk, Learning, Industries, and Knowledge Services teams as needed.
  • Effectively manage agency and/or third-party contractors when necessary
  • Coordinating and collaborating on internal communications with stakeholders to align on key messages and drive adoption and activation of programs across the Deloitte Firm network.

 

The role requires a seasoned communicator who is adept at navigating business culture and can advise senior stakeholders on effective internal engagement strategies. This person should have the confidence and experience to be autonomous -- developing communication plans and running multiple campaigns and projects independently. He/she will have the authority to tap into staff resources for support and be expected to manage those resources with little oversight from his/her senior manager.

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing or business
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in business, marketing, and communications
  • Exceptionally strong project management and organizational skills to oversee multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a virtual environment
  • Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including ability to interact with professionals at all levels and highly intellectual thinkers to translate complex ideas into easy-to-understand communications
  • Meticulous attention to detail including proofreading skills, knowledge of editorial style, ability to be make messaging more concise and to tailor it to different audiences
  • Analytical skills, experience with measurement, metrics, and KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and a problem-solver with strong critical thinking skills
  • Understanding and appreciation of cultural differences globally
  • Experience in a matrixed multi-national or global organization
