Are you looking for an opportunity to work with the Client Account Management group within the Deloitte Priority Account team?

Deloitte’s Client Account Senior Specialists work on our Large Priority Accounts portfolio. While this is not a sales role, Senior Specialists spend 50% of their time on client focused activities.

What will your typical day look like?

Every day will not be the same, but your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Relationship Tracker

  • Coordinates team activities and client events to enable lead generation
  • Maintains relationship map / bios, tracking meetings and interactions
  • Shares client intelligence across the team

Researcher

  • Researches the client’s business, competitors, and industry
  • Supports pursuit development and engages supporting resources across the firm

Account Networker

  • Understands team dynamics and coordinates team communication, meetings, networking, and learning
  • Creates and maintains onboarding / off-boarding documents

Team Coordinator

  • Supports Client Account Manager(s), Lead Business Partners, and Lead Client Service Partners in communicating the account vision, strategy, and goals
  • Demonstrates Servant Leadership
  • Develops and shares best practices across accounts

Financial Tracker

  • Leverages financial investment tools, develops outputs, and tracks progress
  • Coordinates account revenue plan, periodic performance, rate card and pipeline growth

Gatekeeper

  • Gathers data to resolve any risk or brand issues (client feedback, debriefs, etc.)
  • Tracks opportunity pipeline and in-flight projects

Industry Support

  • Develops agendas and presentations for Industry Leadership and Industry Client Account Management Community
  • Supports annual planning, financial and opportunity reporting, and client feedback cycles

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years’ professional services experience in account management, project management and business development strategy with experience in areas such as marketing, communication, sales, and pursuit management.
  • General Financial Services industry knowledge or direct experience working in industry are an asset, but not required.
  • Proven experience working towards becoming a trusted advisor to senior leaders through experience in internal / external relationship building to increase account penetration leading to increased revenue opportunities
  • Success in playing a coordination role within an account team framework and the ability to connect cross-functional teams (i.e. working effectively and teaming with Lead Client Service Partners, Service Line/Industry leaders, practitioners, and other business development professionals)
  • Poised, executive presence, business acumen, and high articulacy
  • Background and experience in communications (written and verbal), project / program management, experienced in financial reporting using supporting technology (e.g. Microsoft suite, collaboration tools, CRM)
  • Ability to take information and present it in a clear, professional, and polished manner using PowerPoint or other supporting programs.
