What will your typical day look like?

 

Initially, through interaction with clients and the client service team, you will be involved with identifying the expenses that are eligible for various government incentives (SR&ED tax credits, subsidies, etc.), determine and compile eligible expenses and develop an incentive claim structure. As you build skills and knowledge, your role will expand to include claim preparation, audit defense, sales, and building deep client relationships. You will be challenged with more complex and strategic projects on the path to becoming a trusted business advisor, and gain a broader view of business challenges and solutions beyond SR&ED.

We help companies become more competitive by advising them on financial strategies to support technology innovation. Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:

  • University degree in accounting or finance or a bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3 to 5 years of specific experience in preparing SR&ED tax credit claims;
  • Ability to understand financial data and explain it clearly and highlight key items;
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing quickly, persuasively, and concisely
  • Ability to work independently within a high performance team
  • Excellent project management skills;
  • Interested in business and industrial processes;
  • CPA designation is an asset.
