What will your typical day look like?


The Technical HR Data and Analytics Manager is responsible for executing our advanced HR analytics and data strategy. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HR data platform/ data products/hub/lake, a deep understanding of HR metrics and analytics, and the ability to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


This role will partner with HR to help assess and prioritize HR analytics and data initiatives. They will work with IT to ensure projects are staffed with the right skilled resources and delivered according to HR's expectations.


They will lead and develop a team of highly skilled analysts, manage vendor relationships, and keep abreast of new and emerging product capabilities and best practices.




  • Help shape the advanced analytics and data strategy for HR and stay current on industry trends and best practices in HR analytics
  • Manage HR data products and analytics requirements, translating business requirements into technical specifications for development/configuration
  • Lead the selection, configuration/development, and implementation of HR analytics and data products capabilities
  • Partner with stakeholders on enabling and managing access to insights and data
  • Help manage data accuracy and consistency
  • Perform data modelling
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Lead and develop a team of data analysts
  • Facilitate focus groups, understanding user needs and guiding customers toward becoming more insight-driven through user-centered design
  • Act as a design thinking expert. Technical capabilities include use-case development, business process model redesign, concept-to-production, UX wireframing, facilitating client strategy & visioning workshops, technology stack design, usability study design & delivery, and leading Scrum/Agile teams through product delivery
  • Plan, schedule, estimate, forecast, coordinate, and manage the delivery of project deliverables and related initiatives; define technical requirements as needed for data and analytics initiatives, ensuring that deliverables are built to comply with Deloitte’s policies, standards, and security protocols
  • Estimate resources required to deliver projects; demonstrate excellent project management skills by monitoring and tracking day-to-day progress, status, and risks in the course of project delivery

ou are someone with:


  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or business intelligence
  • Experience in people analytics is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholder
  • Experience leading and managing technical teams
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in enterprise visualization reporting tool 
  • Preferred: Experience with Visier Platform, One Model and Azure Synapse Analytics
