What will your typical day look like?

As a Manager, in Insurance Core Technology group within our Consulting Practice, you will collaborate with senior leaders, manage junior practitioners, and contribute to the firm’s growth and development in a variety of ways:

  • Scope and plan engagements; manage engagement teams; develop deliverable structure and content; ensure exceptional outcomes are achieved
  • Establish and sustain long-term relationships with top decision makers at key clients
  • Collaborate and work with InsurCloud product development team members to develop mandatory / suggested product upgrades and enhancements
  • Lead implementation of various Guidewire Suite models, which may include: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, Data Suite, Digital Portals, Integrations and Broker Connectivity with Broker Management Systems(Applied etc.)
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Strong technical knowledge and Integration experience
  • Identify efficiencies and innovative approaches
  • Maintain responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products
  • Assist in proposal development as requested

About the team

Our insurance core technology solutions, which feature the InsurCloud software-as-a-service offering, help clients improve their insurance administrative and operational capabilities through enterprise technologies. Solutions range from selection, planning, operational improvement, implementation, and the operation of pre-configured technology with innovations that increase speed to market while reducing costs and risk.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • 5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • A minimum of 2 full life cycle implementations
  • Large Scale System Delivery Experience preferably for Policy Administration with front end integrations.
  • Experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations
  • Experience with Guidewire and front end applications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing at least one Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing,
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in custom software development projects

In addition, successful candidates will have the following preferred background:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Guidewire Integration or Configuration certification
  • Hands on technical expertise specifically related to Integration to multiple complex applications
  • Experience delivering projects via an Agile/Scrum methodology
  • A strong Java, Gosu background
  • Strong knowledge and comprehension of standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.)
  • Strong software development methodology understanding, and have assisted in the design, development or testing of a technology integration project
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • Eagerness to mentor junior staff
