What will your typical day look like?
As Unified Performance Management & Analytics (UPMA) Manager within Deloitte Technologies, you will be a subject matter expert in infrastructure monitoring technologies and lead a team of technology professionals to provide monitoring tooling and performance health analysis to teams and member firms across Deloitte.
Work you’ll do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to excel in their areas of expertise and career goals
- Subject Matter Expert in infrastructure monitoring technologies for network, server, serverless, and synthetic monitoring
- Responsible for the operational stability of the technologies offered through the UPMA Service
- Participate in a rotational on-call for the UPMA systems and act as an escalation manager when required
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of the team ensuring adherence to standards, best practices, and project methodology
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to leadership and customers of the UPMA service technologies
- Facilitate and implement continual improvement to provide ongoing value to UPMA customers
- Manage and maintain operations and maintenance for the suite of enterprise systems in line with change management processes
- Direct and deliver reports to senior leadership on the success of the UPMA service in line with requests from internal teams and stakeholders
- Direct and manage the identification and resolution of technical problems associated to systems
- Manage vendor relationships and influence product development where appropriate

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
You are someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in technical operations and support, delivery management, and team leadership
- Knowledge of monitoring and performance systems in an enterprise environment such as MS SCOM, Dynatrace, SolarWinds Orion, and NetBrain
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including cloud, networking, software/hardware systems, and applications
- Understanding of ITIL practices and SAFe methodology
- Excellent communication skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking, and presentation)
- Must have ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
