Job summary

d1g1t Inc. is seeking an experienced Intermediate Software Engineer, who is proficient with Python and AWS and thrives working in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will report to the Lead Integration Engineer on the Client Services team. Your primary role will be on developing and maintaining our Data Integration platform to ensure the overall application's robustness, ease of maintenance, and scalability. A dedication to sophisticated design and crafting clean code is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement integrations between diverse systems to ensure smooth and efficient data flow.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of third-party systems or services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, address data discrepancies and system compatibility problems.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the reliability and stability of integrated systems.
• Ensure security measures are implemented throughout the integration processes to safeguard sensitive data.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews.

Technical Qualifications:

Must Haves...

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent area
• Strong proficiency in software development using Python
• 3 years+ experience, preferably for SaaS/B2B
• Familiarity with modern relational DB (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with AWS services, including, but not limited to, S3, CloudWatch, ECS, EC2, RDS
• Familiarity with Git, Github
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• An entrepreneurial and resourceful mindset
• Proactive problem solver
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details

Nice to Haves...

• Experience with Django
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Start-up experience
