Job Summary

As a Senior Client Relationship and Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact, and delivering exceptional value by addressing their wealth and portfolio management needs. You’ll foster strong client relationships, swiftly resolve escalations, and keep all stakeholders updated on project status and client health indicators.

In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with both organizational and client goals. You’ll create and execute project plans, prioritize tasks, manage risks, and provide executive-level updates on progress. Leveraging your financial domain expertise, you’ll help clients navigate complex business problems, enhance their experience, and deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

Manage Client Relationships:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and new clients. Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing value by addressing their wealth and portfolio management business problems.
  • Resolve escalations swiftly, leveraging internal teams to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions with clients to gather insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on project status, expectations, and key client health indicators.

Project Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project management strategy in alignment with the organization’s overall business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, aligning with organizational strategy and client expectations.
  • Prioritize competing tasks, and ensure timely, on-scope completion.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring that projects meet or exceed expectations.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance project management methodologies.


Financial Domain Expertise:

  • Utilize strong financial knowledge to understand and address client problems.
  • Improve processes and provide insights that enhance client experience and project outcomes.
  • Clearly communicate complex concepts to clients and internal teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide relevant and accurate advice to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. CFA is a plus.
  • 5+ years in client relationship management, with expertise in wealth or portfolio management and/or IT Project Management.
  • Proven project management skills with a record of delivering client projects on time, on budget, and within scope. PMP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and technical concepts in a simplified manner.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong technical (SDLC) background who thrives in working in a fast-paced environment and with a variety of tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Asana, Slack, Notion).
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
