About the Role
Are you a strategic thinker passionate about leading high-performing software development teams? We are seeking an Engineering Manager with 5+ years of experience managing teams to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our next-generation architecture. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you'll lead, inspire, and empower a team of talented engineers to create innovative solutions that drive our business forward. This role is a unique opportunity to blend your technical expertise and leadership skills. You'll collaborate closely with the executive team to align technical initiatives with our broader business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Leadership & Mentoring: Foster a culture of growth and continuous learning by providing coaching, mentorship, and regular feedback to your team. Conduct performance reviews and facilitate career development opportunities.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive our technical roadmap and align with overall business goals. Track progress, analyze metrics, and adapt strategies as needed.
- Team Building: Lead recruitment efforts to build and expand a high-performing team of software engineers. Foster collaboration, inclusivity, and a positive work environment.
- Technical Innovation: Identify and champion opportunities for automation, process improvement, and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance our development practices and product offerings.
- Project Management: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Communication & Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Communicate technical concepts, progress updates, and challenges to executives and team members. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.
