Job Summary
Venture Managers are responsible for supporting CDL Site operations, focusing on venture recruiting, providing business development support to CDL Ventures, and leading initiatives to support the growth and continuous improvement of the program.
- This position will interact on a regular basis with CDL founders, Mentors, Academic faculty, other CDL employees, and Georgia Tech students.
- This position typically will advise and counsel: CDL founders and students.

Responsibilities
Job Duty 1:
- Builds a pipeline of CDL prospects and works within Salesforce to monitor and outreach to Ventures
Job Duty 2:
- Acts as the coordinator between ventures, scientists, and students by supporting ongoing communication, creating Session documentation, and managing the documentation workflow (venture summaries, updates, schedules, etc.)
Job Duty 3:
- Supports CDL Session operations, including the day of events and tasks leading up to the event, including Slack support and document creation
Job Duty 4:
- Interviews Ventures and provides recommendations about who should be admitted to the program.
Job Duty 5:
- Supports CDL administrative functions (including drafting emails, proofreading, etc.) as necessary
Job Duty 6:
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Required Experience
Three or more years of job-related experience
Educational Requirements
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Business Communication Degree in progress or completed, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

STEM degree or technology background preferred
Proposed Salary
- Salary Range: $52,894-$71,936/yr
- Job Grade: A8
