Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Proposal Specialist role is an internal support role reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering. The successful candidate will coordinate producing the RFP response in collaboration with other internal resources such as sales, solution engineering, solution consulting, human resources, professional services, solution marketing, IT, finance and legal, and by using the RFP response tool.
  • Manage and enforce the end-to-end RFP process including the production and review of the response.
  • Schedule and lead the RFP intake call to make a go/no-go decision whether to participate in the RFP.
  • Plan timelines and resources requests to produce on-time and high-quality RFP responses by coordinating internal resources with subject matter expertise for the information requested.
  • Maintain the RFP and proposal templates to ensure alignment with the latest product features and ensure customer facing documents are in alignment with company branding
  • Manage the RFP response tool
  • Coordinate periodic reviews and updates of the RFP response library.
  • Train and support the sales organization on the RFP processes and tools.
  • Generate board level analytical reports on RFP performance.
  • Analyze year over year RFP response performance to identify areas of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge management resources for the RFP function including operational procedures and the RFP knowledge database and look for ways to continuously innovate.
  • Assist sales in registering Cority as a vendor on procurement portals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor`s Degree in a relevant field such as Communications, or Marketing is generally preferred; however, equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • 2 to 5 years of proposal management in a sales environment and proposal writing.
  • Experience with an RFP automation software such as Responsive or Loopio.
  • Sales process knowledge and previous experience working with process documentation is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple challenging deadlines in a highly cross-functional role and fast-paced, SaaS sales environment.
  • Previous experience in Environment, Health, Safety, Quality or Sustainability practices or software would be an asset.
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills and excellent attention to detail. Must have fluency in English. Additional languages would be an asset.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on fostering positive relationships. Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Experience with CRM tools (such as Salesforce)
