As a Product Marketing Manager (Sustainability), you will act as an evangelist, translating market problems and product capabilities into compelling messaging and positioning.
You will be the expert in understanding the Sustainability Software market, specific market problems, and market definitions. You will understand and be able to communicate their impacts on our customers, prospects, and partners. You will also be accountable for communicating value of the investments in Cority products to a wide range of stakeholders including analysts, customers, prospects, partners, sales, marketing, consultants, and customer success managers.
In your role as a Product Marketing Manager (Sustainability), you will analyze the competitors, buyers, industry verticals, along with feedback from customers, sales, and partners to position our products effectively in the market. You will transfer this knowledge to the sales, marketing, solutions, product, customer success, professional services and executive teams. You will research and document detailed information on our buyer personas to enable the creation of media that addresses awareness, consideration, decision, retention, and upsell stages of the buyer’s journey. You will lead efforts to develop content that empower our sales channels and our user community to be successful.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Market & competitive intelligence - be the expert on our buyers, research and document how they buy and their buying criteria, conduct in win/loss reviews and analysis; be the expert on our competition and how to beat them.
  • Positioning - Develop product and industry vertical positioning and messaging that differentiates Cority products in the market.
  • Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the Cority products to the sales team and collaborate with the marketing communications team to develop tools and materials that support the sales cycle and improve win rate (e.g. PowerPoints, product sheets, battlecards, website content)
  • Demand generation - Strategize with marketing communications, sales, product, and solutions teams to develop marketing programs that drive demand for Cority products.
  • Spokesperson & Evangelist – be the company voice for your products and industry; meet and build relationships with industry analysts and key media, speak at conferences and to senior executives at our prospects and customers.
  • Go-to Market – Lead the planning and communication to support the release of new solutions and features.
  • Pricing - Provide support for the evolution and maintenance of the product price list.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Sustainability or software product marketing experience with at least 2 years experience in a field facing role
  • Bachelor’s in business or marketing or science
  • Industry Sustainability experience an asset
  • Very strong written and verbal communication kills
  • Willing to travel 25%
  • Experience in B2B enterprise software and/or service marketing an asset
  • Experience in B2B SaaS an asset
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
