About the workplace
As Senior Administrator, you will play an important role as the main support for the day-to-day transactions for both lending and deposit services. Working closely with various internal stakeholders, this role ensures information is accurately and efficiently administered according to required service standards and compliance requirements.
This permanent, full-time role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity Community Investment Bank head office location and your Ontario based home office. Periodically, in-person events or activities will be required of you.
A typical day will involve:
- Process loan fundings including preparation of audit documentation, inputting in loan system, and coordinating with internal parties to ensure timely execution of outgoing wires
- Ensure timely collection of loan payments and fees; maintain accurate trackers to document payments/issues; provide follow-up with internal/external parties to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensure the ongoing quality of administrative duties throughout the term of a loan, including updating of information and processing loan renewals/payouts
- Onboard new lending and deposit clients
- Provide technical advice, guidance and oversight with respect to administration, reconciliation and reporting
- Support in troubleshooting IT issues in online banking platform and loan system, and assist in testing to resolve issues
- Assist with year-end CRA processes, including gathering and reviewing of data for submission
- Improve existing processes and documentation with a goal of reducing errors and manual work
- Provide information for internal/external audit requests
- Investigate and resolve day-to-day payment issues and provide recommendations in order to optimize operational effectiveness
- Assist VISA cardholders with their inquiries
- Support management in ad hoc reports/projects as needed
You Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in banking, commercial loan funding, and/or client service
- Proficient in commercial loan funding processes and requirements
- Experience with commercial construction projects and project management reporting is a bonus
- Strong communications skills (oral and written)
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
