WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated and dependable Shipper / Receiver with 3+ years of warehouse experience to join our Global Logistics team in Calgary, Alberta. This position is responsible for the accurate processing, recording, and handling of all incoming and outgoing goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a goal-oriented approach to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify shipments against sales orders or delivery documents
• Inspect items for Quantity, accuracy and damage
• Record deliveries and update inventory systems to ensure data accuracy
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all goods received and shipped
• File shipping and receiving documents using ERP systems and Excel
• Brace containers, pack goods for shipment, and apply proper labels and shipping instructions
• Coordinate and manage local pickups and deliveries as required
• Store received items in appropriate warehouse locations
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials
• Process product returns, including packing, labeling, and shipping to vendors
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, supervisors, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries
• Investigate and resolve shipping or receiving discrepancies and documentation issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or shipping & receiving
• Valid forklift certification with safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English for documentation and instructions
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety programs and compliance requirements
• Customer service experience is an asset

Skills:

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, maintain organized storage areas, and manage shipping/receiving schedules efficiently
• Accuracy in verifying orders, inspecting for damages, and maintaining precise records
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and a positive, self-motivated attitude
