Program Manager - Commercial Operations

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Role:

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Operations, the Program Manager, Commercial Operations drives cross-functional execution across the commercial organization. This role turns leadership priorities into structured action by managing governance routines, implementation plans, issue tracking, and process-improvement programs across Sales, Revenue Operations, Customer Operations, Finance, Product, and Operations.

  • Run the operating rhythm behind the CCO organization, including recurring leadership reviews, action tracking, and follow-through.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that improve commercial visibility, customer continuity, and execution discipline.
  • Support implementation of new frameworks, dashboards, handoff controls, and process improvements.
  • Ensure critical decisions translate into owners, timelines, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain strong visibility into open risks, blockers, and dependencies across the business.
  • Help create more structure, consistency, and accountability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Operating Cadence & Governance

  • Coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial governance routines.
  • Prepare agendas, pre-reads, issue logs, decision records, and action trackers for leadership forums.
  • Maintain governance calendars and ensure actions are followed through to completion.
  • Support MBRs, QBRs, forecast reviews, customer-risk reviews, and deal desk coordination.

Cross-Functional Program Delivery

  • Lead implementation of operational improvement programs spanning Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Operations.
  • Coordinate across Finance, Product, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Technical Sales where required.
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions across multiple active workstreams.
  • Escalate blockers early with clear trade-offs and recommendations.

Process Improvement & Change Enablement

  • Support rollout of new frameworks, SOPs, controls, and workflow changes.
  • Drive adoption tracking and implementation follow-up for new processes and tools.
  • Create practical structure where work currently depends on email, tribal knowledge, or inconsistent follow-through.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and commercial execution.

Reporting & Executive Support

  • Maintain RAID logs, program status summaries, and implementation dashboards.
  • Provide clean updates to leadership on progress, risks, and next actions.
  • Help ensure executive discussions stay anchored to action and accountability.

WHO YOU ARE

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in program management, PMO, business operations, commercial operations, or a comparable cross-functional execution role.
  • Experience coordinating initiatives across multiple teams with competing priorities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Excel required for executive reporting and governance materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, hardware, industrial technology, or a similarly complex operating environment.
  • Experience supporting commercial, customer, or post-sales process improvement initiatives.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, continuous improvement approaches, or formal PMO disciplines.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, CRM systems, dashboards, or operational KPI tracking is an asset.

Skills

  • Excellent organizational discipline and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with executive-ready presentation capability.
  • Ability to drive accountability without direct authority.
  • Comfort managing ambiguity, shifting priorities, and multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Practical problem-solving and calm escalation management.
