WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. This role provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department to ensure efficient HR processes and an exceptional employee experience. You will support recruitment activities, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, HR programs, and routine office operations. The HR Coordinator collaborates closely with employees, managers, external vendors, and agencies to help drive HR initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support rollout and administration of employee programs such as Rewards & Recognition and talent management initiatives.
  • Track employee changes including promotions, transfers, and other updates.
  • Prepare employment letters, contracts, and related HR documentation.
  • Support HR reporting and documentation management.
  • Assist with internal HR communications and announcements.
  • Prepare onboarding materials, welcome packages, and resources.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, including orientations and security access setup.
  • Coordinate employee benefits enrollment and changes.
  • Maintain accurate and current employee records in the HRIS.
  • Organize and track the HR events calendar and related communications.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in HR coordination or HR administration.
  • Knowledge of HR practices, recruitment processes, and employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting HR programs such as performance management, recognition programs, or talent development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience coordinating onboarding and employee lifecycle processes in a growing organization.
  • Previous experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or HRIS platform enhancements.
