WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Role:
CoolIT Systems, Inc. is hiring a full time Procurement Coordinator to assist in everyday activities of CoolIT's Liquid Lab. Primary responsibilities include coordination of material flow through Liquid Lab including procurement of the required parts, coordination of logistics, tracking inventory, inbound and outbound materials.
Reporting to the Senior Lab Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes ownership, is a team player, looks for interesting custom projects and wants to contribute to the future of scalable computer cooling solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Create and submit purchase requests (REQs) and track approval progress.
- Monitor inventory for consumables and replenish stock when needed.
- Track order execution: placement of the PO, order acknowledgements, promised dates, backorders/partial fills, and expediting.
- Request, coordinate and track shipments end-to-end.
- Receive, inspect, and log inbound shipments.
- Coordinate and log outbound shipments.
- Track material movement within the Liquid Lab between different internal groups.
- Deliver materials that are required by different groups within CoolIT Facilities
- Own bin/location assignments and maintain accurate, real time inventory records for every zone within Liquid Lab.
- Enforce 5S in stock and staging areas; maintain clean, safe, and audit ready spaces.
- Propose process improvements to optimise material tracking, reduce lead time and increase accuracy.
WHO YOU ARE:
Basic Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management.
- 5 years in inventory management or logistics coordination.
- Experience with an ERP/MRP or inventory system (Oracle NetSuite is highly preferred but not mandatory).
- Should be able to lift and move up to 20 kg (44 lbs) on his/her own on occasional basis and 10 kg (22 lbs) frequently
- Proficiency with MS Excel and document control.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in lab, R&D, or light manufacturing/assembly environments.
- Reach truck and sit down forklift certification.
Skills:
- Extreme Ownership: Taking full accountability for the Liquid Lab inventory levels and the cleanliness of your assigned zones without needing constant supervision.
- Cross-Functional Communication: The ability to clearly relay status updates on parts and shipments to different internal groups, such as Engineering and Facilities.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Staying composed and finding solutions when custom projects lead to sudden changes in priorities or urgent expediting needs.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: A high level of precision when inspecting inbound materials and maintaining real-time records to prevent workflow bottlenecks.
- Collaborative Team Player: A service-oriented mindset to ensure other departments have the materials they need to keep scalable cooling projects on track.
