WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a talented Test Team Lead - PCL to join our Test and Qualification team. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality and excellence. This role will report to the Test and Qualification Manager and will be integral to driving the technical revolution of liquid cooling at CoolIT Systems, Inc.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of test engineers and technicians
• Develop and execute test plans that will ensure compliance to internal and external customer defined standards
• Develop and execute HALT testing, temperature stress testing, thermal cycling, mechanical stress testing, etc.
• Detect design defects through analysis and testing, and perform root cause analysis when needed.
• Design of automated test equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Present technical reports to internal and external customers
• Attend internal and external meetings.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical or relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of total related work experience with at least 1 year experience as a team lead
• Working knowledge of CAD packages such as SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of thermal heat transfer, fluid dynamics and material analysis
• Strong understanding of ASTM, IEC and ISO test standards (e.g: ASTM E1252, IEC 62631, ASTM D2122, ASTM D638, ISO 10619-1)
• Working knowledge of instrumentation including pressure transducers, temperatures sensors, flow sensors, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in testing and qualifying electro-mechanical parts and systems
• Previous experience in developing test procedures, test development and best practices for product development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarization of passive coldplate loops
• Knowledge of programming tools such as Python, C/C++, etc.

Skills:

• Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians effectively.
