Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

This is an exciting opportunity with CoolIT Systems, the leading provider of scalable liquid cooling technology, as a Key Account Manager for our EMEA customers. In this role, you'll contribute to our continued growth and success by managing key and growing client relationships and driving revenue and market share. Join our rapidly growing organization and make an impact in the data center industry.

This role is remote in EMEA with a preference for those located in time zones between UTC to UTC+2.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key and growing liquid cooling customers located in the EMEA region.
  • Understand client needs and our competitive positioning, challenges, and goals to offer tailored solutions for their cooling requirements to enable growth in sales.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and support while identifying growth opportunities and nurturing leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Achieve CoolIT's program pipeline and forecast targets.
  • Create account management plans for designated accounts with double-digit revenue growth.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in data center operations and cooling solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key clients in the data center industry.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure successful project execution from initial discussions to delivery and implementation.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies in data center cooling.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to guide product development and innovation.
  • Support the commercial aspects of key accounts, such as program pipeline, product pricing, schedules, and escalations.
  • Act as a strong advocate for customers within the company, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams to create top-notch sales materials and proposals.
  • Engage and learn from the Product and Engineering teams to develop a deep understanding of our hardware and services.
  • Lead review and negotiation of customer contracts and manage inputs from stakeholders to drive execution of contracts.
  • Continuously monitor performance metrics and quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Potential for international travel up to 35%. Implement processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective execution of after-sales support activities, aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives.

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Development or Account Management role.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or advanced technology business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales-lead organization.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and value to clients.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference for strong technical background, with experience in data center infrastructure, cooling systems, or related fields.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite (preferred), Ariba, ServiceNow, or Zendesk.
  • Advanced degree preferred.

  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute on complex business plans and initiatives.
  • Strong, organizational and analytical skills; ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
