Role

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

An exciting and challenging position exists as the Manager, Field Service Operations within CoolIT’s Professional Services team. As a key leader on the team, you will expand and develop our global Field Services Operations team, currently providing critical support to customers worldwide. Your efforts will drive excellence in our service delivery, enhance customer satisfaction, and support CoolIT's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and strengthen our Field Service Operations team, focusing on both North American and international markets
  • Oversee and support team members across different time zones, ensuring effective coordination and timely support
  • Build and maintain a world-class training and certification program for the installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of CoolIT products
  • Establish and maintain high standards of service excellence among all team members and our network of Authorized Service Providers
  • Identify and develop new revenue streams within our Professional Services practice

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Must have a refined balance of office professionalism and hands-on technical abilities
  • 5+ years experience in field services
  • 3+ years experience managing field service teams or trades contractors
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (international travel)
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency on and offsite
  • Experience in data center construction, planning and/or project management
  • Awareness of data center cooling strategies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and PLCs, specializing in hydronic heating and cooling loops and equipment
  • Experience in deploying products in partnership with customers, end-users and other stakeholders

  • Acts with a sense of urgency, illustrates ambition and drives for completion of tasks/projects
