We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our team as the Director of Professional Services. This senior leadership role will oversee CoolIT's site services organization, which encompasses site assessments, solution development, installations, and after-sales support. The Director of Professional Services will play a pivotal role in guiding our team of engineers and technicians as they develop solutions for some of the most advanced data centers in the world.


  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the professional services organization, aligning with the company's overall strategic objectives.
  • Lead by example, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver excellence in every aspect of their work.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies and plans to drive the growth and success of the professional services organization.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and improvement, staying ahead of industry trends and customer needs.
  • Interview, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technicians.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, empowering team members to reach their full potential.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and account management teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Implement processes and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective execution of site assessments, installations, and after-sales support activities.
  • Continuously monitor performance metrics and quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of professional services offerings with overall company goals and strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience working in Professional Services department.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within a professional services organization.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and value to clients.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference for strong technical background, with experience in data center infrastructure, cooling systems, or related fields.
  • Advanced degree preferred.


  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute on complex business plans and initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (International Travel).
