What You’ll Do
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of System Engineering to join our team and drive our product development efforts to new heights. This role will report to the VP Engineering and will oversee our electromechanical line of products including but not limited to Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHX).
As the Director of System Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of electromechanical systems in next generation of our liquid cooling product portfolio. You will collaborate internally with cross-functional teams in the Mechanical, Software, and Firmware departments and externally with Fortune50 customers to ensure seamless system performance.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities
- Electromechanical Expertise: Understanding and optimizing the interactions between electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Product Development: Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production, to create high-quality, innovative products that meet customer needs.
- System Architecture: Applying your extensive experience as a system architect to design, implement, and maintain complex systems. Engineering Management: Leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving continuous improvement in a high-volume industry.
- Integration: Ensuring successful integration of mechanical components with software and firmware, including pumps, fans, heat exchangers, control systems, sensors, cabling, touch screens, and other relevant components.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years’ background in a similar role
- Proven experience as a system architect
- Strong background in engineering management within a high-volume industry
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Master’s or PHD in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- P.Eng designation
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
