Role
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are seeking a talented Key Account Manager to join our Business Development team. We are looking for someone with technical sales skills and a desire to put clients needs first. This role will report to the Manager, Key Accounts and will be integral to the company's continued growth.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for meeting CoolIT’s program pipeline and forecast targets. Developing account management plans for new and existing accounts that result in double digit revenue growth;
  • Know our key accounts’ product roadmap inside and out;
  • Support commercial aspects of our relationship with key accounts, including program pipeline, product forecast, product pricing, schedules and escalations;
  • Be the voice and a strong advocate for your customers within the company; continuously strive for and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Partner with peers in the company to cross-functionally ensure execution on customer programs at the highest level;
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to generate industry leading sales collateral and proposals;
  • Continuously engage with and learn from the Product and Engineering teams to develop a deep understanding of our hardware and services;
  • Engage regularly in the review and negotiation of various customer-related contracts;
  • Develop go-to-market plans for OEM partner products;
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures; and
  • International travel (up to 20%).
Who You Are
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in account management roles
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred background on large enterprise IT companies
  • Knowledge of data center and IT markets; awareness of data center cooling strategies considered a strong asset;
  • Passionate about new technologies
Skills
  • Comfortable and adept at presenting technical concepts to a technical audience
  • Excellent planning and execution skills as they relate to pre-defined account plans
  • A self-motivated individual with a thirst for knowledge that moves fast
  • Enjoys and contributes to a collaborative culture where nothing is impossible; and
  • Believes in being an ethical approach to conducting themselves professionally
