We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly customer-focused and passionate Inside Sales Manager. Working closely with our outside sales team, this role is fundamental in supporting lead generation and achieving our revenue growth objectives. You will support the sales process from the quote stage through to fulfillment, wherein you will coordinate and work with internal cross-functional teams to successfully manage customer projects/orders. You are a great communicator, detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a proven track record of “delighting” customers and surpassing sales quotas. You are comfortable with ambiguity and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities, includes but not limited to:

  • Support the outside sales team to ensure that the sales pipeline remains full with qualified leads & projects
  • Generate quotes for Manufacturing Representative/Distributors in the specification channel
  • Coordinate sales activities with the Design Team, Engineering and Operations to determine the feasibility of customer requests including technical, manufacturing, and cost estimation.
  • Act as the customer liaison with internal teams as it relates to order intake and fulfillment (Manufacturing/Shipping/Finance)
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability and lead time of product to customers
  • Support/manage care activities that support sales & operations planning and best practices.
  • Monitor and ensure the accuracy of sales pipeline data
  • Work closely with the planning team in Operations in prioritizing order fulfillment, forecast updates and assess KPIs
  • Ensure accurate and complete information is captured in customer relationship (CRM) system; lead & opportunity generation and administration
  • Develop and maintain good working relationship with customers to promote growth of business
  • Have proactive behavior with any customer complaints and ensure timely resolution to customer satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • University degree or college diploma in Business, Sales, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, preferably in a customer service or inside sales role; experience in design, construction, or materials is an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and resolve issues effectively
  • Strong computer proficiency and experience with CRM platforms; hands-on experience with NetSuite is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer focus with a strong sense of urgency for both internal and external stakeholders
