About the job:

The ContactMonkey marketing team has big plans for the coming quarters – and none bigger than our mission to scale our content marketing results. We’re looking for talented content marketing and content writing pros to help us achieve that mission.

As a Content Marketing Manager on the marketing team, you’ll be responsible for producing compelling, on-brand, SEO content that drives conversions. If you boast a portfolio of awesome SEO-written content—backed up by meaningful marketing results—then we’d love to hear from you!

In this role, you’ll work within our content team to tackle a diverse range of written content, including blog posts, website copy, case studies, and social media management to drive conversions, traffic, and engagement across our website and social channels.

What you'll be doing

  • Tackling a diverse range of content marketing materials including blog posts, social media posts, email copy, ebooks, case studies, and reports.
  • Creating long-form (2,000+ words), in-depth, well-researched blog posts that match our SEO technical briefs, and provide value to our audience of internal communications professionals.
  • Adhering to our content calendar and executing multiple high-quality pieces every week (2-3 new blog posts minimum).
  • Writing, editing, optimizing, and publishing thought leadership content that supports our SEO traffic targets and conversion rate goals.
  • Working with our sales, product, customer success, and marketing teams to create conversion-focused content (e.g. monthly product newsletter and customer case studies).
  • Planning and managing our social calendar (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and Instagram) to distribute content, grow and engage followers, and highlight our events, people, and projects.
  • SEO best practices and processes to continuously keep our digital content optimized and updated.

About you

  • You’re an excellent writer/editor who understands the role of content in a B2B marketing strategy and likes a playful and engaging tone.
  • You’re data-driven with a deep understanding of SEO, SERP, CRO, and content metrics reporting.
  • You understand the power of social media and know how to harness it to carry out an effective social media strategy.
  • You’re a pro at multitasking and prioritizing, owning your projects with results in mind.
  • You work well with deadlines and can self-manage.
  • You’re organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that all copy shines before hitting “publish”.
  • You’re an adaptable team player – working in a fast-paced environment doesn’t scare you.
  • You’re a tried and true content marketer with experience executing, testing, and optimizing all types of content.

How you can stand out

  • A genuine interest in our product and writing for our audience of internal communications professionals.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Understanding of how AI can enhance (not replace or substitute) content creation.
  • Experience with short and long-form video creation as a content marketing medium.
  • A strong knowledge of how content plays a role in growth at SaaS companies.
  • A degree in journalism, communication, marketing, business, creative writing or a similar discipline.
  • At least 3+ years of experience creating long-form content and optimizing for SEO within a B2B SaaS environment.

In your application, make sure to:

  • Submit a portfolio of SEO-related content work that showcases how your strategy, writing, and execution led to improvements in traffic, search rankings, and lead conversion
