The Sales Operations Specialist will meet the challenges of our working environment and strive to make a difference in our organization. This position is actively involved in dealing with our customers by receiving and processing their purchase orders, providing order confirmations, correspondence and support throughout the order process. You’ll work alongside a diverse and talented group of individuals in sales and admin, hardware and software, and technical support to continue Connect Tech’s drive within the embedded industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as liaison between Connect Tech and our customers throughout the order process
  • Order entry review & processing for multiple customer purchase orders received on a daily basis
  • Verification of order particulars such as product, price, ship-to address, shipping method, payment terms, delivery lead times, ensuring compliance with terms of sale
  • Providing customers with order confirmations, handling routine customer calls regarding status of orders, providing schedule and delivery information
  • Completion of customer survey requests
  • Offer support to Sales Department by providing customers with quotes on standard product and pricing information
  • Maintain Salesforce data by working with sales team to ensure clean reporting
  • Create sales reports
  • Recommend process improvement to increase sales efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years’ progressive experience in order entry and a Sales supportive role
  • An organized and systematic approach to personal work flow and order entry process
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous style
  • Strong data entry skills, with keyboarding proficiency and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload across multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring that the delivery of high-quality work and timelines are met
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Salesforce customer service platform is an asset
  • Experience with Business Central is a plus
  • A flexible attitude, being adaptable to change and capable to take on new tasks as required
  • A desire to work in a high energy, fast paced environment
