About the Opportunity
The Events & Community Marketing Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of our event presence and community engagement. This role is a blend of execution, project management, and brand stewardship. You will be the primary engine driving our B2B SaaS event execution, ensuring that every trade show, dinner, and social campaign translates into measurable ROI.

Responsibilities:

Event Strategy & Execution

  • End-to-End Management: Track upcoming events, manage all internal/external communications, and drive consensus on attendance and logistics.

  • Operational Leadership: Execute events by coordinating with our internal team, external event agencies, and third-party vendors.

  • Team Coordination: Act as the central Point of Contact (POC) for event teams. Responsible for selection, preparation, and ensuring all travel (flights, accommodations, etc.) is booked.

  • Logistics & Inventory: Manage the inventory and logistics of all marketing content and physical giveaways.

  • Adjacent Programming: Lead the planning and execution of satellite activities, such as executive dinners and networking mixers.

Community & Social Responsibilities

  • Social Campaigning: Collaborate with marketing agencies to plan and execute targeted social campaigns surrounding events to maximize exposure and brand impact.

  • Channel Oversight: Oversee brand and messaging alignment across LinkedIn, X, Meta, Reddit, and marketplaces like the SAP Store.

  • Engagement: Actively respond to social engagement, reviews, and community communications to maintain a high-touch brand presence.

Reporting & Project Management

  • Lead Management: Ensure the seamless capture of leads from events into marketing and sales pipelines.

  • ROI Tracking: Track event performance and manage comprehensive reporting to justify spend and inform future strategy.

  • Budgeting: Contribute directly to event budget planning and financial tracking.

  • Cross-functional Support: Assist with project management tasks for both events and broader marketing initiatives as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Industry Expertise: Proven track record in event execution, specifically within the B2B SaaS sector.

  • Strategic Mindset: Results-oriented approach with the ability to plan initiatives based on marketing-defined objectives for in-person events and growth.

  • Data Proficiency: Data-driven ability to provide actionable recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative info, while building consensus with senior-level stakeholders.

  • Campaign Optimization: Experience with A/B testing and the optimization of email campaigns, including subject lines, sender names, timing, and calls-to-action.

  • Project Management: Skilled in using project management software such as Asana, Clickup, or Monday.com to maintain high attention to detail and timelines.

  • Technical Literacy: Strong Excel skills for data tracking, budgeting, and lead management. Ability to manage and expand an internal calendar of events via MS Sharepoint.

  • Adaptive Leadership: Confident communicator able to pivot and own solutions during high-pressure "crisis moments."

  • Operational Flexibility: Readiness to respond to urgent issues after hours or on weekends during active events as the primary Point of Contact.

  • Bonus points: Experience in the manufacturing or distribution vertical and/or order-to-cash, procure-to-pay or automation spaces.
