🚀 About the Role: Marketing Co-op, Demand & Brand (Winter 2026)
As a Marketing Co-op at commonsku, you’ll get hands-on experience building and executing marketing campaigns that boost prospect engagement, drive revenue, and create delightful experiences.
You’ll support social media marketing, branded merchandise campaigns, and events to get well-rounded exposure to brand and demand marketing, while collaborating with Marketers in Product and Customer Marketing, Design, and Content.

🛠️ What You’ll Do
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Social Media:
- Assist in managing the content calendar and create engaging, on-brand content for our social media channels.
- Help brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for social media posts and campaigns
- Monitor channels for community engagement opportunities and respond to comments and messages.
- Compile performance reports to track key metrics and identify content trends to support future strategic direction.
- Support internal communication of social results and ideas to the broader marketing team.
- Promotional Merchandise:
- Coordinate with vendors for ordering and production of branded merchandise.
- Track inventory levels, manage distribution lists, and ensure quality control upon delivery.
- Support employee and customer gifting programs.
- Events Marketing Support:
- Assist with pre-event logistics, including preparing marketing assets and managing merch or direct mail shipping lists.
- Support on-the-ground activities during events as needed.
- Help with post-event tasks like lead data cleanup and compiling recap reports.
🔍 What You Bring
Some of the experiences and qualities that help you thrive in this role:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Events Management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in social media trends, brand building, and events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, ownership mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bonus if you have:
- Prior internship experience in marketing or a related role
- Familiarity with social media platforms in a business context
- Previous Hubspot experience
💰 Compensation & Perks
We believe in paying our co-op students fairly for their contributions. Students earn a monthly salary, aligned with how many co-op work terms they have completed, in the range of $3,700 to $4,150 per month. This co-op term is for 4 months, from January to April 2026.
New hires are expected to come in at the midpoint of this range. However, if this role sounds perfect for you and your expectations are outside of this range, we encourage you to apply and let us know in your application about your ideal package. 🌎 Location
We are remote-first and this role is open to students in Ontario, who are available to attend onboarding for their first week and occasional in-office days at
our headquarters in midtown Toronto.
