THE ROLE: Senior Technical Writer (6-month renewable contract)

You are a seasoned Technical Writer who enjoys working with technical people. You understand complex concepts and can create concise and easy-to-understand documentation and training videos and materials. You want to join a team of people that works together, solves tough problems, challenges each other, and trusts each other. You can see and communicate the outcome of technical discussions in the real world. You thrive being part of a small, exceptionally talented, and motivated group developing the next generation technologies that will change how the world uses WiFi.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to establish an in-depth technical understanding of all aspects of WiFi Motion
- Understand the external user personas of our material
- Create accurate documentation and training videos to assist our external partners in building integrated solutions
- Help build out our Technical Documentation strategy
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- 5+ years of experience in writing technical documentation and training material for a technical audience focused on API / SDK documentation, ideally in the areas of cloud-based software solutions, hardware platforms, and/or mobile applications
- A proven track record of documentation and training material creation in highly technical environments
- Talent for building out and driving the best documentation experience for internal and external audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- High accuracy and attention to detail (i.e., a Grammar Enthusiast)
