Production Associate

Reports to: Production Manager / Production Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Parts and Material Transportation
-  
Transport automotive parts, tools, and materials between production areas and storage areas.
 -  
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
 
Material Handling and Equipment Use
-  
Load and unload materials onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
 
Inventory and Documentation
-  
Verify part counts, labels, and quality during pick-up and delivery.
 -  
Maintain accurate records of parts and materials movement in tracking systems.
 
Communication and Coordination
-  
Collaborate with production teams, warehouse staff, and supervisors to prioritize tasks.
 -  
Respond to urgent requests for parts and materials delivery as required.
 
Support Production Goals
-  
Assist with organizing and maintaining storage areas to ensure easy access to materials.
 -  
Provide general support to production and logistics teams as needed, including overtime shifts.
 -  
Support the Last Mile department in getting vehicles ready for delivery.
 -  
When required, assist other departments such as Parts, Mechanics, Lot Attendants, Photography, and Detailing.
 
Qualifications
-  
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
 -  
License: Minimum of a G2 Driver’s License (valid in Ontario).
 -  
Driving Record: Clean driver’s abstract with no major infractions.
 -  
Background Check: Clean criminal background check.
 -  
Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada.
 -  
Availability: Minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.
