Reporting to: Manager of Business Analysis

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, exceptional leadership qualities, and excellent communication abilities. This role requires working closely with stakeholders, both internal and external, to guide the evolution of CLEARVIEW products.

A primary objective for the Product Analyst is to help CLEARVIEW to not only meet the needs of our customers today but also to evolve to meet the needs of existing and future customers tomorrow. This individual will be responsible for driving key enhancements for CLEARVIEW and its future innovation.

What will your day look like?

Duties and tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer Engagement: Act as a point of contact for customers regarding product changes. Understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide clear explanations of the modifications being made.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and requirements. Translate these into actionable insights and specifications for the development team.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure that all product changes align with the company's overall strategy and vision. Communicate how these changes will benefit both the customer and the company.
  • Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of product changes. Facilitate collaboration between development, design, marketing, support, and other key stakeholders.
  • Product Innovation: Explore new and creative ways to lead customers into the future, proactively meeting the needs that will arise in their business.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, user stories, and process flows.
  • Quality Assurance: Support QA teams to ensure that product changes meet the required standards and deliver the intended benefits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role in a software product company.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficient in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and align product changes with business goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with product management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience working with design teams.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or similar) or Product Management (Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute, or similar).
  • Experience in the QSR industry.

Other Requirements:

  • Some flexibility of working hours as required based on business and departmental needs.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Minimal physical demands, with most time spent sitting/standing in an office environment; manual dexterity required for computer usage.
  • Significant visual and mental concentration.
