Circuit Stream is a leader in future skills tech training and learning content. Our mission is to help expand immersive and emerging technical education. We do this by building and delivering world-class educational programs including bootcamps and courses for adults as well as courses for teens that focus on the skills needed to leverage the power of technology.

We are looking for an organized and proactive Education Program Coordinator to join our Product team. This person will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of our courses and youth programs and will act as the primary liaison between Instructors and Circuit Stream team, manage course schedules, review instructor teaching styles, coordinate resources like classroom bookings, and ensure that all technology is set up for smooth course delivery. Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Masters degree preferably in Education with 2-5 years experience in program coordination, project management, or course administration along with knowledge of best practices and teaching methodologies for adult education and youth education. This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director of Product.

Note: This role will based full-time (5 days per week) in our Circuit Stream office, 1011, 1st Street SW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Operations: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of courses to ensure everything runs as planned, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Support the Instructor Hiring Process: Collaborate with People and Culture to identify hiring needs and requirements to deliver the courses, and participate in the interview process.
  • Instructor Onboarding: Set up all systems and access (including Zoho Mail, Brightspace, Google Drive, Zoom, Slack, Discord, and any other necessary tool).
  • Instructor Coordination: Manage relationships with instructors and serve as their primary point of contact.
  • Instructor Continuous Training: Training new instructors and providing professional development training for current instructors.
  • Scheduling & Logistics: Plan schedules for courses and camps, ensuring classrooms, instructors, and tools are ready.
  • Learning Platform Setup: Ensure the Brightspace and Zoom platforms are configured correctly, and any necessary tools or materials are available.
  • Quality Control: Monitor courses and programs to ensure high standards and provide feedback to instructors.
  • Reporting: Provide feedback and recommendations to the content manager and maintain detailed documentation for each program.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters Degree in education preferred.
  • 2-5 years experience in program coordination, project management, or course administration.
  • Familiarity with best practices and teaching methodologies for adult education and youth education.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage instructor relationships.
  • Familiarity with learning platforms (experience with Brightspace is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.
  • Experience with creating teacher development programs.
  • Experience working in an educational or camp setting is an asset.
  • Previous instructing/teaching experience is an asset.
  • Annual salary in the range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year
